New York City recorded 41,748 rodent complaints in 2023, up 1.5 percent from 41,121 in 2022 and the highest total in the five years this report covers. That is 49.67 per 10,000 residents. Brooklyn filed the most at 15,762, and East Harlem (North) led all neighborhoods at 390.61 per 10,000.
