New York City recorded 39,726 rodent complaints in 2024, down 4.8 percent from 41,748 in 2023. That is 47.26 per 10,000 residents. Brooklyn filed the most at 15,099, and East Harlem (North) reached 545.78 per 10,000, its highest rate in this report and the highest of any neighborhood in any year covered.
