Graduate Pest Control

House Mouse Control

House mice enter through gaps as small as a quarter-inch and establish nests inside walls and insulation. Graduates program combines interior snap trap placement, building envelope exclusion using Xcluder materials, and monitoring to confirm elimination.

Frequently Asked Questions

House mice enter through gaps as small as 1/4 inch — any unsealed pipe penetration, gap around a door frame, or crack in a foundation. Once inside, they nest in walls and rarely leave voluntarily.

Snap traps remove mice mechanically and are preferred in sensitive environments (kitchens, food prep areas, homes with pets). Bait stations are used for ongoing exterior perimeter management. Most programs combine both.

Permanent exclusion — sealing every entry point — is the only long-term solution. We use Xcluder fabric fill, door sweeps, and hardware cloth at penetrations. Without exclusion, any population reduction is temporary.
