Frequently Asked Questions

Norway rats are ground-dwelling burrowers — they establish colonies in soil, under foundations, and along fence lines. Treatment focuses on tamper-resistant exterior bait stations, BurrowRX for active burrow systems, and permanent exclusion of foundation entry points.

We use second-generation anticoagulant rodenticides in tamper-resistant stations where appropriate. For properties with children, pets, or wildlife concerns, we adjust the program accordingly — snap traps, tracking powder, and direct burrow treatment are alternatives.

Active populations typically show measurable reduction within 2-4 weeks of a bait program. Full control — including exclusion — is an ongoing process. We monitor and adjust on each service visit.
