The Bronx recorded 5,105 rodent complaints in 2025, down 14.4 percent from 5,963 in 2024. Against a population of 1,412,082, that is 36.15 complaints per 10,000 residents, marginally below the citywide rate of 37.25.
Highbridge carried the highest concentration in the borough at 99.50 complaints per 10,000 residents from 753 complaints, and it runs against the citywide trend. Highbridge complaints rose 97.1 percent year over year, close to double the 2024 figure, while every other leading Bronx neighborhood declined. Hunts Point follows at 62.11 per 10,000, though from a much smaller base of 70 complaints across a population of 11,270. Norwood, West Farms and Longwood each fell between 24 and 29 percent.
